خالد أحمد العناني علي عز، من مواليد 1971، شخصية بارزة عُرفت بالتزامها وخبرتها الواسعة في مجالات الإدارة العامة، التعليم، البحث العلمي، الثقافة، السياحة، والعلاقات الدولية. شغل منصب وزير السياحة والآثار المصري، ويعمل حاليًا أستاذًا لعلم المصريات بجامعة حلوان، حيث استمر لأكثر من ثلاثين عامًا في التدريس والبحث العلمي. ركزت جهوده الأكاديمية على تاريخ الحضارة المصرية القديمة، الآثار، والكتابات المصرية القديمة، وامتدت مساهماته إلى مؤسسات دولية مرموقة، مستفيدًا منها آلاف الطلاب والباحثين المصريين والأجانب.
