Professor Khaled E-Enany delivers a Lecture in Bratislava

In May 2025, Professor Khaled El-Enany delivered a lecture in Bratislava on the evolving role of Egyptian archaeology and museums in preserving heritage and promoting mutual understanding.

He traced the evolution of museology in Egypt, highlighting how the country’s museums have successfully made archaeological discoveries accessible to diverse audience. He emphasized how museums foster knowledge transmission and how they create a shared space for intercultural dialogue.

Professor El-Enany also addressed the urgent need to protect cultural heritage in a global context amid conflicts and climate-related disasters. He called for stronger international mobilization to safeguard culture as a pillar of peace and resilience.

Attended by researchers, students, and institutional representatives, the event reflected Professor El-Enany’s firm belief that museums, are more than just a collection of artifacts, as they could act as a catalyst for education and peacebuilding, bridging cultures, and are a platform for international cooperation and global solidarity.
